Mirra Andreeva vs Elena-Gabriela Ruse prediction

Mirra Andreeva dug deep to see off Sorana Cirstea and progress to the last four in Linz.

The Russian edged a tight opener and recovered from a mid-match lapse to secure a 7-6 4-6 6-2 win over the fifth seed.

The top seed will now take on another Romanian after Elena-Gabriela Ruse bagged a 4-6 6-4 6-1 win over former champion Jelena Ostapenko. 

The world number 87 will be facing Andreeva for a second time after Mirra claimed a 6-3 6-4 win in their maiden clash at the Australian Open this year.

Ruse is a tougher proposition on clay but Andreeva is no slouch either and we expect the teenage world number ten to once again have the answers and reach the final.
