Miomir Kecmanovic heads into Roland Garros on the back of his strongest showing of the season so far, as he won a Challenger title in Valencia. The Serb dropped just one set across his five matches. That would have been a boost for Kecmanovic, as he suffered first-round exits in Monte-Carlo, Munich and Madrid, while he could only reach round two at the Italian Open.
He now takes on Fabian Marozsan. The Hungarian’s best result on clay was right at the start, as he advanced to the semi-finals of the Bucharest Open. However, despite being an overwhelming favourite, he lost in three sets to Daniel Merida Aguilar.
