Millwall vs Sheffield Wednesday prediction

Millwall come into this one on the back of a 3-1 hammering at the hands of Portsmouth at Fratton Park in their most recent outing, the other day. That means that Alex Neil’s side are now winless in their last four matches in the second-tier and they have now drifted outside of the top six and the playoff places in the second-tier.

They now face a Sheffield Wednesday side that are in administration and are still pushing for a takeover, with relegation to League One something of an inevitable formality. The Owls were beaten 3-0 by struggling Sheffield United in the Steel City Derby at Hillsborough the other day.

With their home advantage in the capital city, Millwall have an excellent opportunity to bounce back and get themselves a much-needed victory, and they are firm favourites.

Millwall vs Sheffield Wednesday tip: Millwall to win & under 3.5 goals
