Of teams that have played 50 or more T20 matches, across the world and through history, Middlesex have the worst win rate of any. The Londoners were beaten by Glamorgan in Cardiff on Friday, making it one win and six defeats in their seven matches so far.
They now face a Durham side that have themselves struggled with just two victories in the T20 Blast this season. The northerners didn’t play on Friday, with their most recent T20 Blast game seeing them beaten by a poor Lancashire Lightning side earlier this month.
Durham will perhaps still be reeling from the Liam Livingstone onslaught of that game but they should bounce back against what is poor opposition in Richmond.
