Michael Zheng is set to make his maiden appearance in the main draw of the French Open as he advanced through qualifying without the drop of a set. His season began strongly as he reached the semi-finals of a Challenger event in Noumea and then qualified for the Australian Open, beating Sebastian Korda in the first-round. He did not feature on the tour for nearly two months, but returned in early May and is now competing in the second slam of the year.
Dino Prizimic enjoyed a breakthrough run at the Italian Open last time out, as he reached the round-of-16 at a Masters event for the first time. The Croatian qualified for this event and beat 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the second-round, before going on to lose to Karen Khachanov. Furthermore, Prizmic qualified for the Madrid Open and beat Ben Shelton in his second-round match, while he also made the final of a Challenger event in Monza last month.
Prizmic will be confident of a first ever win at Roland Garros, and he is the clear favourite to win this one.
