Metz vs Rennes prediction

Following their promotion to the top-flight, Metz were winless in their opening nine matches of the campaign before three successive victories in Ligue 1. However, they now come into this one on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Stade Brest, albeit they again showed a continued level of improvement.

They now face a Stade Rennais side that, coached by Habib Beye, begin the weekend sitting tucked inside the top six. Rennes most recently eased to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Monaco at the Roazhon Park to extend their current winning streak to three matches as they challenge for European qualification.

The form of the two sides, with improved form especially in attack for both, would mean that both teams scoring perhaps seems a good bet for this one this weekend.
