The prediction
Melbourne come into this one on the back of a 35-point defeat of high-flying Hawthorn in their most recent outing, last weekend. That means that the Victorians have now won three of their last four matches in the AFL.
They now face a Richmond side that have won two and lost 14 of their 16 matches in the AFL thus far. Richmond most recently succumbed to a slender two-point loss to Carlton as they continue to have everything go against them.
That was an improved performance and result for Richmond but this does appear to be a one-sided affair that Melbourne should win at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
