The prediction

Melbourne bounced back from their humbling at the hands of Fremantle with a dramatic come-from-behind victory Carlton at the MCG last week.

At one point trailing by 43 points and barely laying a glove on their opponents, the Demons found something from somewhere to completely turn the match in their favour - winning by 23 points when all was said and done.

One of the standout teams so far this season, Gold Coast have won all three of their matches in the 2026 campaign, most recently accounting for Richmond with relative ease in Round 2, before they sat out last week's round.

The Suns have looked every bit a title contender so far, and despite this match taking place at the MCG, it is difficult to look past them going 4-0.
