The prediction

Melbourne come into this one on the back of a 45-point loss to a struggling Essendon side last weekend, following a strong start to the campaign with three victories in their opening four matches.

They now face a Lions side that have enjoyed a three-match winning streak since a defeat to Sydney in New South Wales in round one. They were run close by North Melbourne in their most recent outing. 

Defending champions Brisbane are getting themselves into a groove and backing the Queenslanders is a good bet, albeit it should be a tough fixture at the MCG.
