Marseille vs Monaco prediction

Roberto De Zerbi’s Olympique de Marseille are involved in a title race in Ligue 1 but they need to find some consistency. They managed to entertainingly defeat Royale Union Saint-Gilloise by three goals to two in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League in midweek after a 1-0 loss to Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy last weekend

They now face a Monaco side that have been, like Marseille, inconsistent since the appointment of Sebastian Pocognoli in the October international break. The Monegasque have suffered four defeats in their last five matches in the league, despite beating Galatasaray in Europe the other day at Stade Louis II.

Both of these sides need a result domestically but despite those similarities, there are a few differences and Marseille would have to be viewed as the firm favourites at the Velodrome.

Marseille vs Monaco tip: Marseille to win
