Mariano Navone vs Learner Tien prediction

Learner Tien has taken his sudden surge on clay all the way to the Geneva Open final after downing second seed Alexander Bublik.

The American held his nerve in a decisive tie break to claim a 6-1 4-6 7-6 victory.

The fourth seed will now meet Mariano Navone for a third time after the Argentine upset three-time champion Casper Ruud by a 7-5 6-2 scoreline.

Tien won their most recent tussle in three in Hangzhou last year while Navone prevailed in two at Indian Wells a year earlier.

We’ve been expecting Tien’s raw clay-court skills to be exposed all week, but he has continued to produce some superb tennis.

However, Navone is very much the specialist on the dirt and that win over an imperious Ruud should give him that confidence boost to go on and bag another title.
