Marco Trungelliti vs Kamil Majchrzak prediction
Marco Trungelliti recorded his second win over Henrique Rocha this season as he won in straight sets. The Argentine had beaten Rocha in the qualifying stages of the Australian Open earlier this year and the 36-year-old made a fast start as he established a 4-1 lead in the first set. Rocha fought back to draw level, but Trungelliti won the last three points of the tiebreak to take the lead. The second set was more comfortable with Trungelliti winning the last five games to seal a 7-6 (5) 6-2 win.
He now takes on Kamil Majchrzak, who is the fifth seed at this event. The Pole defeated Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the previous round. He went ahead after taking the first set on a tiebreak, but Cerundolo hit back in the second. Majchrzak did not face a break point in the decider as he broke at the start to win 7-6 (3) 3-6 6-3.
This is their first ATP meeting, though they did face each other in the first qualifying round of this event last year, with Majchrzak winning 6-4 6-3. A similar result is not out of the question here.
