Man City vs Sunderland prediction

Man City might have won both their Premier League games in the last week, but they certainly haven't done it the easy way. After a late Phil Foden strike handed them a 3-2 win over Leeds last weekend, they held off a fine Fulham comeback in a action-packed 4-5 victory at Craven Cottage on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola will hope for an improved defensive play on Saturday, with his side having kept just one clean sheet in their last nine games across all competitions.

Sunderland continue to pick up points in the Premier League, most recently holding reigning champions Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Wednesday.

The Black Cats are simply refusing to let up and Regis Le Bris has them playing with both pragmatism and intensity in their first season back in the top flight.

Although City continue to leak goals, in-form Foden and the ever-deadly Erling Haaland are firing them towards a title charge at the moment. The goals are flowing for the Citizens, and though they may concede, another high-scoring win could be the order of the day.

Man City vs Sunderland tip: Man City to win & over 2.5 goals
