Malaysia vs Cabo Verde prediction

In the first friendly between these two sides the other day, Malaysia and Cabo Verde shared a 1-1 draw at the KLFA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. Cabral opened the scoring for Cabo Verde in that game before Paulo Josue equalised for the Malaysians late on in the second-half.

Malaysia, coached by Peter Cklamovski, are currently ranked 131st in the world according to FIFA. That 1-1 draw the other day means that they have now suffered just one defeat in their last eight matches. Cabo Verde, on the other hand, are now on a three-match unbeaten run of form after back-to-back victories in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification in March, defeating Mauritius and then Angola.

Malaysia proved themselves to be stubborn the other day but it does seem as though, with a second bite at the cherry, Cabo Verde will be able to get themselves over the line for a victory.
