Magdalena Frech vs Victoria Azarenka prediction

Two-time finalist Victoria Azarenka is bidding to arrest a slide that has seen the former world number one drop outside the world’s top 50. 

The Belarusian produced a clinical display to defeat Camila Osorio 6-2 6-3 in the first round and will like her chances of upsetting 26th seed Magdalena Frech.

The Pole has won two of her three matches on clay following a five-match losing streak, but was beaten in her only previous meeting with Azarenka by a 3-6 6-3 3-6 scoreline in Doha last year. 

Vika has made the third round in Rome in two of her past three visits and she’s a decent bet to do it again against an opponent who has only ever won one main draw match at this tournament in the past.
