Madison Keys vs Diane Parry prediction

Madison Keys’s defence of her Australian Open title ended at the round-of-16 stage, as she lost to Jessica Pegula. Keys had not been at her best up to that point, but she will hope to put in a strong showing here, having made the semi-finals in 2025. That was her best ever result at Indian Wells.

She takes on Diane Parry after she defeated Venus Williams in the first-round. Parry took the first set and broke in the second but was forced into a decider as the five-time Grand Slam singles champion won the second set on a tiebreak. Parry reasserted control in the third set to win 6-3 6-7 (4) 6-1 after two hours and 21 minutes.

Keys hasn’t featured for over a month, but she will be hopeful of restarting her campaign with a strong performance and victory in the second-round, as she looks to defend her points at Indian Wells.
