Lugano vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv prediction

Lugano have started their Swiss Super League season with a defeat of Vaduz, hammerings of Grasshoppers and Zurich before a 10-1 win in the Swiss Cup at the weekend, while also easing past Dukagjini and NSI Runavik in Europe.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv come into the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League after winning the Israeli Super Cup before a 6-0 aggregate defeat of Sheriff Tiraspol in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, followed up by a 4-3 aggregate loss to CSKA Sofia, despite winning the second-leg 3-1 in Bulgaria.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv have scored eight goals in two games in Europe away from home, while Lugano themselves are free scoring so it should be a fun watch but the Swiss do remain favourites.

Lugano vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv tip: Lugano to win & over 2.5 goals
