Liverpool vs Sunderland prediction

Liverpool claimed a much-needed 0-2 victory at West Ham on Sunday, which eased the pressure on manager Arne Slot somewhat. Alexander Isak's first Premier League goal for the Reds was also a plus point as the champions ended their three-game losing run in all competitions.

In one of the matches of the weekend, Sunderland produced a stunning comeback from two goals down to beat Bournemouth 3-2 at the Stadium of Light, with Brian Brobbey netting the winner for the Black Cats.

Although Liverpool kept a clean sheet last time out, they still look a defensively fragile side, while Sunderland have conceded in each of their last five games. All the ingredients look to be there for a high-scoring game, so with that in mind, over 2.5 goals is the tip at Anfield.

Liverpool vs Sunderland tip: Over 2.5 goals
