Levante vs Athletic Bilbao prediction

Following their promotion back to the Spanish top-flight last season, Levante have performed quite well with 16 goals scored in their 13 matches but they have only managed just two victories. They lost the Valencian derby to Valencia by a goal to nil at Mestalla last weekend.

They now face an Athletic Club side that have struggled to balance the intensity of La Liga and UEFA Champions League football throughout the campaign. The Basque giants, coached by Ernesto Valverde, returned from the November international break with a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Barcelona last week.

Athletic have been far more susceptible this season and Levante will take the game to the Lions with both teams scoring seeming a good bet for this one.
