The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League playoff round tie at Easter Road in the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh last weekend, Legia Warsaw defeated Hibernian by two goals to one. Julian Nsame opened the scoring for Legia in the 35th minute and Pawel Wszolek then doubled their lead in first-half stoppage-time. Hibs then managed to pull themselves a goal back via Jamie Mulligan in the 86th minute.

In the previous rounds in Europe, Hibs’ best performances have come away from home, with a draw in Denmark against Midtjylland then a victory in Serbia against Crvena Zvezda, and so they will fancy themselves going to Poland this week. 

Legia, who were quarter-finalists in this competition last week, have to remain favourites for this one, but Hibs should cause some issues defensively for the Polish giants.
