Learner Tien vs Jannik Sinner prediction

Jannik Sinner kept his push for a maiden Indian Wells title on course with a hard-fought win over Joao Fonseca.

The Italian delivered in the clutch moments to claim a 7-6 7-6 victory over the rising Brazilian teenager.

The world number two will now tussle with another youngster after Learner Tien saved match points on his way to edging Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 4-6 6-1 7-6. 

Sinner won 6-2 6-2 in last year’s Beijing final in their first ever meeting and it doesn’t look like a good match-up for Tien.

This may well be closer in the slower conditions but Jannik is still highly likely to prevail in two.
