Learner Tien vs Damir Dzumhur prediction
Learner Tien has not been at his best recently, with four defeats from his last four matches. He suffered a surprising loss to Roman Andres Burruchaga after beating Nishesh Basavareddy in Houston, and he was on the end of an opening round defeat to Adolfo Daniel Vallejo in Madrid. Tien is still developing his game on clay, and that has contributed to indifferent results up to now. He will hope for a run of results at this tournament ahead of Roland Garros later this month.
He takes on Damir Dzumhur in the second-round after receiving a bye. Dzumhur was in total control against Adrian Mannarino in his first-round match, winning in straight sets. Mannarino struggles on clay, but it was still a clinical display from the Bosnian, who won 6-4 6-0 after exactly 90 minutes.
Tien is yet to properly impress on this surface, and though he is the favourite against Dzumhur, he is likely to encounter a few problems.
