Le Havre have been quite impressive, surprisingly, in the last few weeks as they now take on a Lille side that are often thrilling to watch at Stade Oceane this weekend.

Le Havre vs Lille prediction

Didier Digard has helped Le Havre ease away from relegation, both last season and this, with a focus on a more proactive and entertaining style of football. They are in the bottom-half but well clear of the danger zone, having had a four-match winless run of form ended by a 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week.

They now face a Lille side that are one of the more entertaining teams in Europe with Bruno Genesio’s 13 games in Ligue 1 having consisted of 44 goals. They are inconsistent, albeit fun, most recently defeating Paris by four goals to two at Stade Pierre-Mauroy after the November international break.

Lille are very entertaining and they face an unusually proactive French struggler and so a fun watch for the neutral in which Lille remain favourites seems the way to go for this one.

Le Havre vs Lille tip: Lille to win & both teams to score
