Lazio vs Bologna prediction
Bologna hosted Cremonese having won their last three Serie A fixtures in a row. But they didn’t bank on Jamie Vardy, whose two goals helped ruin any Bologna party as Cromenese came away with a 1-3 victory. Lazio meanwhile, were taken down by a goal to nil in a narrow encounter 1-0 against AC Milan at the San Siro.
Lazio’s last two league games in Rome however, have been a success, winning by two goals to nil against both Cagliari and Lecce. With home advantage in their favour here, they’ll be confident of dominating much of the game and retaining a high volume of possession. But Bologna will pose a significant counter-attacking threat.
Expect Lazio to have the better of the chances but for Bologna to get opportunities themselves. They have over two goals per game across their last four Serie A matches and with that in mind, backing both teams to score should be seen as a shrewd move.
