Lanus vs Flamengo prediction

Lanus come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss to Independiente in the Argentine Primera Division at the weekend. It has been an average start to the 2026 Apertura campaign for the hosts of this first-leg, with two victories, two draws and a defeat.

Flamengo, under the management of Filipe Luis, have been extremely impressive for a while now. The Rio de Janeiro-based giants eased into the semi-finals of the Carioca Serie A at the weekend with a 2-1 defeat of a strong Botafogo side.

Flamengo are still getting through the gears at the start of the 2026 season but they do, frankly, remain the better of the two sides and should come out on top in both legs of this final.

Lanus vs Flamengo tip: Double chance – Flamengo to win or draw
