Kenya have managed just one win in their seven matches thus far, as they take on a Seychelles side that could be fairly described as one of the weakest teams in Africa.

Key Stats

  • Kenya have won the previous four competitive (non-friendly) international matches between these teams.
  • Kenya have won only two of their last 14 World Cup qualifying matches (D6 L6).
  • The Seychelles have yet to win a World Cup qualifying match in 23 previous attempts (D2 L21).

Kenya vs Seychelles Prediction

Kenya come into this one on the back of an underwhelming performance and result as they were beaten 3-1 by Gambia at the Moi International Sports Centre last weekend, with the likes of Yankuba Minteh and Musa Barrow tearing Kenya apart in the first-half.

Seychelles have played seven African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and they have suffered seven successive defeats, with just two goals scored and 34 conceded. They were most recently beaten 4-0 by Gabon at the National Sports Complex Pitch 1.

Kenya may not be the best team to watch and they do lack quality, but they have to remain as firm favourites for this one against such a poor side in Nairobi this week.

Kenya vs Seychelles Tip: Kenya to win -1 handicap
