Kairat and Olympiacos have picked up just one point and two points respectively over the course of their five league phase fixtures so far, underlining the importance of a win for both teams in this encounter, with neither having tasted victory as of yet. Kairat will hope that home advantage can help tip the scales in their favour, whilst Olympiacos can take heart from their fighting display against Real Madrid.
The only point gained by Kairat so far came at home to Pafos in a 0-0 draw and since then, a sterling display away at Italian giants Inter Milan saw them narrowly beaten 2-1 by last season’s Champions League runners-up.
