The only nation across the group stage to boast a 100% record, Jordan’s reward is a quarter-final clash with Group D runners-up Iraq.

Jordan vs Iraq prediction

Jordan have looked every inch the potential champions so far over the course of this competition and three wins from three in Group C was testament to that. Key to their success has been the excellent attacking play and potency in front of goal, with Jordan averaging nearly three goals per game, finding the net eight times across after just three matches.

The Iraqi backline will have their work cut out for them throughout this quarter-final, but they should gain opportunities themselves. Iraq found the net twice in two of their three group matches and are unlikely to let Jordan try and dictate play throughout. Whilst Jordan’s relentless offensive power may wind up being the deciding outcome, backing both teams to score appears a shrewd move as well.

Jordan vs Iraq tip: Jordan to win and both teams to score
