The Italian looks match sharp again following his injury lay-off and clinched a rock-solid 6-4 7-5 success over Tallon Griekspoor to reach the round of 16.
Lehecka also looked strong as he bagged a 6-4 6-2 triumph over Alex Michelsen and takes a 2-1 head-to-head advantage into this latest showdown.
However, Musetti won their most recent clash 1-6 7-5 6-2 in Monte Carlo last year in their only previous tussle on clay and although these are faster conditions, a similar outcome looks a good shout.
