Jil Teichmann vs Yasmine Kabbaj prediction
Jil Teichmann progressed to her first quarter-final since making the 2025 Iasi Open final as she defeated Alycia Parks in straight sets. It was a largely comfortable win for the Swiss, as she claimed a 6-3 6-4 victory. She was also aided by a poor performance from Parks, who made 58 unforced errors in total.
She now takes on Yasmine Kabbaj, who reached her first ever tour-level quarter-final with a win over Tatjana Maria. The German was seeking a second quarter-final of the campaign but she was far from her best as she lost 6-2 6-4 to Kabbaj, who will now break into the top 300 of the WTA rankings following the victory.
It’s been a brilliant run for the Moroccan so far, but Teichmann is the commanding favourite to make it through to the last four. She was consistent against Parks, and if she can replicate that display here, she will have a brilliant chance to continue her progression at this event.
