Jennifer Brady vs Sloane Stephens prediction

Jennifer Brady continued her comeback at Indian Wells in the first-round, and she was on top in her match against Antonia Ruzic. Brady looked on course for a fine victory after taking the first set, but Ruzic would come back to win in three. The 2021 Australian Open finalist has been competitive in her matches this season.

Sloane Stephens also competed at the event and lost in the first-round after a comprehensive loss to Camila Osorio. She then dropped down to compete in the 125 event in Austin but failed to qualify after a 6-0 6-1 defeat to Anastasia Zakharova. Stephens, who won this tournament in 2018, has now lost her last three matches without winning a set and is yet to win on the main draw so far this season.

Both players have faded in recent times, but Stephens is struggling a lot at the moment and that may provide Brady with hope of a win in round one here.
