Jaqueline Cristian vs Camila Osorio prediction

Jaqueline Cristian produced a strong performance to beat Anastasija Sevastova 6-3 6-4 and reach her first tour-level semi-final on clay. The Romanian was always in control and now takes on Camila Osorio in the last four.

Osorio continued her recent resurgence as she outclassed Maria Mateas 6-3 6-1 in her quarter-final match. The Colombian created chances in numerous service games, only taking five out of a possible 15 break points opportunities, and yet still winning in dominant fashion.

This will be their first encounter on clay but they’ve played once before with Cristian coming out on top. She recovered from a set down to beat Osorio in the first-round of Wuhan last year. Osorio already has a clay title to her name this season and has shown good fighting spirit to come from a set down in two of her three matches so far. We lean towards her winning in three sets.
