Hubert Hurkacz will be a strong favourite that could feel the heat when he takes on world number 136 Jaime Faria for the first time.
The Pole should enjoy unloading his big serve and hefty forehand in these faster conditions and will be relieved to have put a seven-match losing streak behind him with two wins in Monte Carlo.
Faria sits 73 places worse off in the rankings and has made little impression tour, other than a run to the last eight in Rio.
