Inter Milan vs Liverpool prediction
Inter Milan lost their 100% league phase record this season in Spain two weeks ago, going down 2-1 to Atletico Madrid after Diego Simeone’s side scored a winning goal in second-half injury time. But they remain in a promising position, fourth-place as it stands. The same cannot be said for Liverpool and Arne Slot, whose shock 1-4 defeat at the hands of PSV has left them down in 13th-place, one point outside of the top eight.
The headlines have been dominated by long-time Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah, who has been left out of the team in each of the Reds’ last three Premier League matches since that PSV loss. On the back of Liverpool’s 3-3 draw away at Leeds on Saturday, the Egyptian conducted an explosive media interview which has seen him left out of the squad entirely for this game and his career on Merseyside now appears in significant jeopardy.
The drama surrounding Salah has arguably drawn attention away from what is a marquee clash between two European footballing giants. But when taking into account Liverpool’s terrible recent form, only one win from their last six in all competitions combined with Inter having home advantage, it’s well worth backing the Nerazzurri via the draw no bet market for extra security.
