A couple of weeks ago in the final of the CONCACAF Leagues Cup, the Seattle Sounders dispatched of Inter Miami by three goals to nil at Lumen Field in Washington. 

It is a result that has left scars for Javier Mascherano’s Inter Miami side, and the Floridians were not at the races as they returned from the September international break over the weekend. They went away to a strong Charlotte side and suffered a 3-0 defeat the other day. The Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Inter Miami have games in hand and will believe they can again push back towards the top of the Eastern Conference, but this is a tricky patch for Mascherano and his side. The Sounders may well be away from home, but they will fancy their chances here at having Miami’s number.
