Inter Miami hammered DC United by four goals to nil at the weekend with a brace apiece for Luis Suarez and the aforementioned Lionel Messi. Inter Miami sit second in the Eastern Conference but they have been frustrated by too many draws this season.
New York City sit outside of the top nine and the play-off places in the Eastern Conference. NYCFC head into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Chicago Fire the other day, having taken a lead into the second half of that one against ten-man opposition.
That defeat means that NYCFC have won just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions and Inter Miami are firm favourites to get another victory here.
