Inter Miami vs New York City Prediction

Lionel Messi-inspired Inter Miami are one step closer to that coveted MLS Cup title after they eased to a 0-4 victory away at Cincinnati last weekend, with their Argentine superstar having a hand in all four goals.

Head coach Javier Mascherano made the brave decision to go without the ageing Luis Suarez in his starting line-up, and it paid dividends with the Floridians looking a much more balanced side as a result.

New York City, meanwhile, claimed a big scalp by defeating Supporters' Shield winners Philadelphia Union 0-1 in their own conference semi-final.

The 2021 MLS Cup champions produced an excellent away performance, with Maxi Moralez' first-half goal proving the difference.

These two sides met just a couple of months ago in the Big Apple, with a Messi brace helping Inter Miami to a 0-4 victory, and a repeat outcome looks very much on the cards here. With Inter Miami at home, we're backing a comfortable win for Messi and co.
