India vs South Africa prediction
Simon Harmer starred as South Africa spun out India in a low-scoring first Test between these two nations, with the Proteas edging it by 30 runs. The hosts were uncharacteristically poor with the bat and must improve this time around. There’s no need to panic though, as we’ve often seen India get off to slow starts across a Test series before pulling things together down the stretch.
It could well be that we see the same in this series, especially as we know India boast the bowling resources to take 20 wickets. Provided we see the expected improvement from the batters then India will be in a strong place and backing the home side to level things up and salvage the series is a move well worth making.
