Ignacio Buse vs Tommy Paul prediction

Ignacio Buse reached his first ATP 500 final after comfortably getting past Aleksandar Kovacevic. The Peruvian made a quick start and was not broken on serve as he won 6-1 6-4 after just one hour and four minutes. Buse was close to the brink against Ugo Humbert in his quarter-final encounter, but he was dominant from the start in his last four match.

He now faces Tommy Paul as he came from a set down to beat Alex de Minaur. Paul won a clay court title in Houston last month and he progressed to his third final of the year as he won 2-6 6-3 6-3. This was Paul’s second straight win over De Minaur, following success at the Italian Open last year.

Paul is the favourite for this match, but Buse has beaten a host of tough names, including the defending champion, to get this far. The American will be expected to win, but Buse is certainly worth a set here.
