Iga Swiatek vs Mirra Andreeva prediction

Iga Swiatek got her campaign in Stuttgart up and running with a straight sets win over Laura Siegemund. In her first match with new coach Francois Roig, Swiatek was rarely troubled as he broke on five occasions to win 6-2 6-3 after 90 minutes. Swiatek, who won this event in 2022 and 2023, is still searching for her first title this season.

She now faces Mirra Andreeva. The Russian, who won the Linz Open last week, made it six consecutive wins after a straight sets win over Hailey Baptiste. Andreeva did not have it all her own way but played the important points well as she sealed a 7-6 (3) 6-3 win.

Andreeva leads the head-to-head 2-1, but this will be their first match on clay. She seemed to be showing signs of fatigue towards the end of her last match, and Swiatek will be looking to extend the rallies at any given opportunity.
