Edmonton Oilers sit at the top of the Pacific Division with an 11-3 record having got back to winning ways with a victory over St. Louis Blues last time out. They will be confident of making it back-to-back wins as they head to Winnipeg to face the Jets who are also enjoying a solid start to the season as they come into this 8-3-3. They earned a second straight win by edging the Los Angeles Kings in overtime of their most recent contest and it will not be lost on them that they were able to sweep the Oilers when they met in last season’s play-offs. There is little to separate the two teams ahead of this matchup but with the Jets having lost just two of their eight home matches so far this campaign, the home team are the slight preference here.
