Hugo Dellien won all of his three matches to qualify for the French Open. The Bolivian almost exclusively competes on clay, and he has reached two finals on the Challenger Tour this season, winning an event in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Dellien has only gone beyond the first-round on two occasions at Roland Garros, in 2019 and 2022.
He goes up against Valentin Royer in round one. The Frenchman has largely struggled this season and has dropped down to compete in Challenger events during this clay court swing. He did make the final at a tournament in Oeiras, along with a quarter-final appearance in Monza. Royer has lost 17 of his 27 matches so far this year.
