Hubert Hurkacz is now on a run of seven matches without a win as he was defeated by Ethan Quinn in the first-round of the Miami Open. Worryingly for the Pole, he has failed to win a set across all of those matches. He does not have a particularly strong record at this event, making a sole quarter-final appearance in 2022.
He goes up against Luciano Darderi in the first-round. Darderi attempted to defend his title at the Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakesh, but he suffered a surprising loss at the semi-final stage to Marco Trungelliti in straight sets.
