Heidenheim preview: Showing some fight
Heidenheim come into this one on the back of struggling throughout the campaign as they sit rock-bottom in the Bundesliga with just three wins all season, having only just narrowly avoided relegation in the playoff against Elversberg at the back end of last season.
The home team did manage to put in a competitive performance last weekend, though, as they succumbed to an entertaining 3-2 defeat to a strong Borussia Dortmund side at the Westfalenstadion in a game in which Heidenheim had a 2-1 lead mid-way through the second-half.
Hamburg preview: Above the danger zone
Following their promotion to the top-flight last season, Hamburg have been quite impressive thus far as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table but they could do with turning their many draws into victories in order to feel a bit more comfortable about the drop.
They most recently shared an entertaining 2-2 draw with runaway leaders Bayern Munich at the Volksparkstadion last weekend, with Luka Vuskovic and Fabio Vieira managing to get on the scoresheet in a game in which Hamburg were the better side.
Heidenheim team news: A few injuries
Heidenheim have a few injury issues for this one as Frank Feller and Leart Paqarada are confirmed absentees, while Leonidas Stergiou and Budu Zivzivadze are doubts, too.
Predicted XI (3-4-3): Ramaj; Busch, Mainka, Siersleben; Traore, Nieheus, Behrens, Dorsch; Dinkci, Pieringer, Honsak
Unavailable: Feller (Injured), Paqarada (Injured)

Hamburg team news: Couple of suspensions
Hamburg are dealing with a couple of suspension issues for this weekend, such as midfielder Nicolas Capaldo and versatile attacker Jean-Luc Dompe.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Fernandes; Gocholeishvili, Vuskovic, Elfadli; Mikelbrencis, Sambi Lokonga, Remberg, Muheim; Jatta, Vieira; Konigsdorffer
Unavailable: Capaldo (Suspended), Rossing-Lelesiit (Injured), Dompe (Suspended), Balde (Injured)
Questionable: Gronbaek (Injured), Poulsen (Injured), Downs (Injured)
Heidenheim vs Hamburg prediction
Last weekend showed that Hamburg have the capabilities to battle and perhaps even better any team in the division but a cautiousness has prevented them from really rallying and flying up the Bundesliga table. Heidenheim themselves showed some fight and attacking cohesion last week and so both teams scoring would therefore appear a good bet for this one on Saturday afternoon.
