The prediction

Hawthorn began with a defeat to the GWS Giants on the opening day of the campaign but they have since enjoyed four successive victories against Essendon, Sydney, Geelong and the Western Bulldogs.

They now face a Port Adelaide side that succumbed to a slender 14-point loss at home to St Kilda the other day with the South Australians having won two and lost three of their opening five matches thus far.

Port Adelaide have begun typically inconsistently after a mid-table finish last year and Hawthorn, especially with home advantage, should come out on top for a fifth straight win.
