The prediction
Hawthorn come into this one on the back of a slender 14-point victory against the GWS Giants in their most recent outing, last week. Hawthorn have now won four of their last five matches as they sit third in the AFL table ahead of this weekend.
Melbourne most recently succumbed to a 17-point loss to the inconsistent Adelaide Crows a couple of weeks ago after a bye week last week. They have won two of their last five matches with one of those coming against the hapless Essendon.
Melbourne are drifting down the table and potentially out of the playoff places – and so siding with Hawthorn may well be the way to go for this one at UTAS in Tasmania.
