Hamburg vs Werder Bremen prediction

It’s clear that home results are crucial to Hamburg’s surivival this campaign and their last two results at the Volksparktadion has only emphasised this fact. A last-gasp equaliser to salvage a draw against Champions League chasing Borussia Dortmund almost blew the roof off the stadium, such was the noise generated by delirious Hamburg fans and that was followed in their most recent home league fixture with a priceless 2-1 triumph over another European team in Stuttgart.

Werder Bremen are next to enter the Hamburg cauldron and they do so having accrued just a point from their last two league fixtures, losing away at RB Leipzig before being held at home 1-1 by fellow mid-table side FC Cologne. Hamburg won’t have anything to fear from Werder and will sense the opportunity for another home victory.

We usually see the best of Hamburg on their own patch and the fans do a wonderful job in making it such a difficult place for the opposition to come. When factoring in those recent two home performances, it makes backing Hamburg a move worth making but only via the safety of the draw no bet market.

Hamburg vs Werder Bremen tip: Hamburg draw no bet
