The Czech is just back from a near three-month lay-off and looks to have worked up some much-needed sharpness with a couple of matches in Rome and a charge to the final at the Parma 125.
Baptiste will represent a tricky opener after her charge to the Madrid semi finals that saw her take down the likes of Jasmine Paolini, Belinda Bencic and Aryna Sabalenka along the way.
The world number 26 also won their only previous meeting in Wuhan in 2024, so the American definitely offers decent value on backing the upset.
We expect Krejcikova to rise to the occasion but feel it may well go the distance.
