The prediction
The GWS Giants come into this one on the back of a slender three-point loss to Essendon in their most recent outing – just Essendon’s second win of the campaign. The Giants had beaten Geelong and runaway leaders Fremantle before that one.
They now face a Sydney Swans side that begin Round 20 sitting second in the table but they are drifting away from the aforementioned Fremantle with the visitors having succumbed to a 16-point defeat at home to the Adelaide Crows last week.
The Swans have been unconvincing in terms of their performance level of late and so siding with a shaken GWS Giants needing to bounce back, especially with their home advantage, could be a good value bet here.
