Key stats

  • Greece have lost only two of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (W3 D5).
  • Denmark have lost only one of their last ten international matches against Greece (W6 D3).
  • Denmark have lost only one of their last 20 World Cup qualifying matches (W15 D4).

Greece vs Denmark prediction

Greece have been improving for a while and, after gaining promotion to UEFA Nations League League A in March, they will be aiming to reach a first major tournament since 2014. The UEFA EURO 2004 winners come into this one on the back of a 5-1 demolition of Belarus at Olympiakos’ home ground in Piraeus the other day.

They face a Denmark side that had seemingly improved under the management of former Anderlecht boss Brian Riemer. The Danes started their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an underwhelming performance, sharing a goalless draw with Scotland at the Parken Stadion in Copenhagen the other day.

Denmark were underwhelming in attack the other day, and the Greeks are expected to come out on top in this one, especially with their home advantage.

Greece vs Denmark tip: Greece to win & under 3.5 goals
